Sara Jensen Carr

Sara Jensen Carr is a designer and researcher based in the Bay Area. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the University of California Berkeley, and holds a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University as well as a Masters of Landscape Architecture from University of California Berkeley. She is the founding co-editor of GROUND UP Journal, a new design journal examining emerging landscape issues affecting contemporary praxis, and the 2008 Piero N. Patri Urban Design Fellow at San Francisco Planning and Urban Research (SPUR). Her ongoing research focuses on urban landscape networks and human ecologies in the contemporary metropolis.
