URBAN DESIGN STUDIO II: The Regional Studio
Lisa Switkin

Lisa holds a B.A in Urban Planning from UIC and MLA from U Penn. She is a recipient of the Good Housekeeping Shine One Award(2001). In 2007-08, she was awarded the Rome Prize in Landscape Architecture. Lisa is currently overseeing work on High Line Section 3; MOCA Detroit; Liverpool’s Everton Park; the South Street Seaport Redevelopment; Hallett’s Point Waterfront Development, the Central Green in Philadelphia’s Navy Yards; Santa Monica’s Civic center Parks; Cleveland’s Uptown Square; Seattle’s Central Waterfront; and Millennium Hollywood. She oversaw the master plan for Shelby Farms Park; the design and construction of Race Street Pier; and was the Design Project Manager and Lead Designer for the High Line from 2004-07.

Prior to Field Operations, she worked for W Architecture and Landscape on the West Harlem Waterfront Project; MP Architects on Eib’s Pond Project, which won the ASLA Award, and the AIA Staten Island Award; and for Abel Bainnson Butz on Hudson River Park.
